This document describes how I process personal data and use cookies on damianurbaniec.com. By using the site, you accept the rules set out below.

2. Scope of this document

This policy applies to https://damianurbaniec.com. I process data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and, for cookies, the Polish Telecommunications Law.

3. What data I process and why

Depending on how you use the site, I process:

• Contact data (name, email address, message or brief content), to respond to your inquiry, prepare an offer, and handle correspondence. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest, communication).
• Order and billing data (company name, address, tax ID, payment details), to enter into and perform a contract and to issue accounting documents. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation: accounting).
• Project materials (texts, logo, photos), to design and publish your website or product. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
• Technical data (IP address, logs, connection parameters), for server security and administration. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
• Data from optional cookies (statistics, preferences, marketing), only after you give consent. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Providing your data is voluntary, but to the extent it is necessary to enter into a contract, it is required to use the service.

4. Recipients and processors

I only share data with trusted providers who process it on my behalf under data processing agreements, and only to the extent needed for the service they provide:

• OVH (OVH Sp. z o.o. / OVH SAS), server hosting, storage of site data, and sending of transactional email.
• Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.), site traffic statistics, only if you consent to it in the cookie settings (the "Analytics" category).
• Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd.), measuring ad performance, only if you consent to it in the cookie settings.
• Accounting office and authorized authorities, where required by law.

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases this takes place under standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

5. How long I keep data

• Contract data: for the duration of the contract and the statute of limitations for claims.
• Accounting documents: for the period required by tax law (generally 5 years).
• Data processed on the basis of consent: until consent is withdrawn.
• Technical logs: for as long as needed for administration and security.

6. Your rights

Under the terms set out in the GDPR, you have the right to:

• access your data and obtain a copy of it,
• rectify (correct) your data,
• erase your data ("the right to be forgotten"),
• restrict processing,
• data portability,
• object to processing based on legitimate interest,
• withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal).

7. Cookies

This site uses cookies and similar technologies. Necessary cookies are always active, since the site cannot work properly without them. 8. Server logs

Using the site involves recording requests made to the server. Logs may include the IP address, request time, URL, browser type, and error information. I use this data only to administer the server and ensure security; I do not routinely link it to specific individuals.
